A desire to feel deeply satisfied with my profession, and integration into my own life and those of my family members led me to pursue Ayurveda. I am the mother of two beautiful boys, and the woman's journey in regards to pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond has become a passionate reality. My goal is to support women and families in my community, along with offering consultations and healing therapies to all who seek balance through Ayurveda.
As an ayurvedic practitioner, I strive to educate individuals and families on how to live and eat for vibrant health and total well-being. In addition to modifications in diet and lifestyle, imbalances can be alleviated through the use of herbs, cleansing techniques and rejuvenating or spa therapies such as oil massage. Ayurveda is extremely useful in combination with western medicine. My role is not to take the place of your doctor, but to enhance your healing by building a strong foundation.
As a doula, I strive to be a loving, solid support person to women and families during the process of pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
Red Spring Ayurveda is founded on the passion of bringing the traditions of ayurveda to mothers, babies and families in our community, while strengthening systems of maternal care. Every new family needs a radiant mother!
In June of 2010, I graduated from the Kripalu School of Ayurveda in Lenox, MA. My experiences during that program honed my practice skills and introduced me to some of the most renowned Ayurvedic Doctors and practitioners in the world. Among them, we were blessed with the instruction of Dr. Rosy Mann, Hilary Garivaltis, Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Sunil Joshi, Dr. David Frawley, Dr. Claudia Welch, Dr. John Douillard, Dr. Partap Chauhan and Scott Blossom. I received my training in postpartum from Sacred Window Ayurveda, and Ysha Oakes in Albuquerque, NM, and my birth doula training from Warm Welcome Birth Services, and Michelle L'Esperance in Northampton, MA.
